Training and Placement cell is one of the most vibrant department of the Xavier Institute of Engineering (XIE), Mahim, Mumbai. TPO cell is a cell by the students, for the students and of the students. Hence, their involvement is crucial for it's success. TPO Cell is run and managed by an efficient team of TNP Head along with students Committee. Right from contacting companies to managing all logistics of arranging the pre-placement talks and conducting final interviews the TPO team provides its best possible assistance to the recruiters. The hospitality and the functioning of TPO cell is applauded and well received by the visiting recruiters.
XIE has firm focus on understanding the dynamics of the Industry and provide students not only experiential learning and Technology education but being a Jesuit institution we focus on the wholistic development of the student by inculcating in them 4cs - Commitment, Conscience, Compassion & Competence.

Placement Rules

Interested Students need to register for the placement before beginning of the placement process. Unregistered students won't be allowed to sit for placement process.

At XIE we follow one Job offer policy (Except Day Zero and Day One) . Once students is placed he/ she is out of placement process unless other company offering higher package (Dream Slot Company) with a difference of 1.5 LPA or more visits for placement

During Day Zero Companies offering higher packages are invited. Students can appear for all day Zero Companies And can have multiple job offers.

During Day 1 we have Two or more companies coming in for recruitment . All students can sit for placement processes and have multiple job offers.

After Day Zero and Day One, only unplaced students can appear for the placement process.

Those who are opting for higher studies should not register for placements. students not adhering to this rule won't get their Transcripts to apply for higher studies.

If after applying students doesn't appear for the process . He won't be allowed for next two companies.

All students should be dressed in formal with neat and Clean Appearance. Students must carry all the educational certificates and mark-sheets and Two copies of resume, Govt ID card.

Students must display college id cards during placements.

Any act of indiscipline during the placement process will be dealt strictly.
TPO reserves rights to change the rules with or without information.
